Sofia Capelo

Assistant Professor of Environmental Chemistry at the University of Évora since 1996. In the period of 1996 to 2008 she taught disciplines connected with environmental chemistry in the domain of pollution and environmental monitoring. After 2008 she began to teach disciplines such as Heritage and Sustainable Development, in collaboration with Filipe Themudo Barata, and also to do research in the domain of monitoring indicators, together with Filipe Themudo Barata and José Manuel de Mascarenhas. Since 2012 she is a collaborator of CIDEHUS. She has a degree and a PhD in Chemistry from the Faculty of Sciences (FCUL) and the High Technical Institute (IST) of the University of Lisbon, respectively.
