Venezia. Designing Tourism Heritage Landscapes

The case study of Venice, identified as to be pertinent to this workshop, allows to approach the general theme of the relationship between cities and forms of tourism. This relationship is a matter of great importance both socially and economically, although it is – especially because of the complexity that characterizes it – underrepresented in terms of the educational agenda that schools of architecture are routinely complying with.

Organized by Mauro Marzo and João Rocha
[João Rocha belongs to the Department of Architecture at the University of Évora and is team member of the UNESCO Chair in Intangible Heritage and Traditional Know-how: Linking Heritage]
